I am a qualified maths teacher available to tutor students for Common Entrance, Key Stages 1 to 3, GCSE and A level.  I have successfully taught maths to a range of pupils from Year 1 to A level and from all walks of life. In addition, before becoming a teacher I was a professionally qualified civil engineer, so I have a wealth of experience of applied maths. This experience helps me to bring the subject of maths alive, which in turn helps students to appreciate the relevance and beauty of the subject.

 

I have a friendly and engaging approach to tutoring, which helps my pupils to quickly gain confidence in the subject.  I use a range of tutoring styles to help pupils improve their understanding of maths enabling them to improve their performance in the subject.

 

I am here to help you to achieve your goals, whatever your level.  I am equally at home with pupils at KS3 who are looking to strengthen their basic understanding of the key concepts to pupils who are looking to enhance their advanced-level skills in the subject.
